The Community
The  Oblates Sisters of Baby Jesus  have been living in Sorrento since 1919.
Their life is totally devoted to Christ and they live their simple life in their parish  serving God  and helping people who want to rediscover their identity of christian. They offer you the possibility to share precious moments of reflection, pray and silence: an unique opportunity for those searching for spirituality.
Their House is called “La culla”, “the cradle”: as the Oblates Sisters have  nurished  Jesus Christ, they will cherish with God’s love anyone who knocks on their door.
Every heart is a “cradle” if it welcomes life.
The Holy Mary is an example to all sisters.
She is  the spiritual mother of all “sons” of God. Everyone need to be a child again and be at the celestial mother’s breast.
Besides cultural educational projects, the nuns financially support missions of the Oblates Sisters of Baby Jesus in the poor countries of Peru and Brasil with photografic exibition for charity with their own artistic works. “Bomboniere” for special events  are hand made produced also.
The cultural no- profit project is open to the young and adults.
Up to now the project has been successful  but it needs financial help and the collaboration of a partner who could support those who cannot afford the expenses.
